Question: I’m looking for some advice on picking a lawyer. I did a search on bucks county attorneys and found a whole bunch of lawyers. But I don’t know which are reputable, or experienced. There should be a legal requirement to post how long you’ve been in business. Is there anything out there like this that can help me?

Answer: I know there are a few lawyer sites out there that have reviews for lawyers. Did you look at Google Places, and some of the popular internet yellow pages? They pretty much all give reviews where people can vote on them using the “star system”. I think that’s a pretty good judge – you let the people decide for you, but ultimately you need to go to them and ask for a free consultation. Some will charge, but others will offer a free one. I recommend you start with the yellow pages and go with the best reviews, then ask them for a free consultation. See if you click.
